Northwest Mini Pig Feed
In the early 1990’s most of the miniature pigs we were seeing had dry, cracked hooves, dull hair and flaky skin. We saw too many miniature pigs
with crystals in their urinary tract, which can lead to serious health problems. We knew that with a proper diet, these problems should not
occur.
This feed was formulated by a local veterinarian (Dr. Sally Cole, DVM), who worked extensively with miniature pot bellied pigs throughout her
career. It is fortified with selenium, biotin and select amino acids to help with skin and hoof problems. The calcium-to-phosphorus ratio has been
established to help avoid crystals and to provide a complete and balanced diet for miniature pigs of all ages.
