There are many pet pig foods available on the market today. Since 1995 the NWMPA has recommended Dr. Cole's Mini Pig Food.
In the early 1990’s most of the miniature pigs we were seeing had dry, cracked hooves, dull hair and flaky skin. We saw too many miniature pigs with crystals in their urinary tract which can lead to serious health problems. We knew that with a proper diet, these problems should not occur.
This diet was formulated by a veterinarian, Dr. Sally Cole DMV, who works extensively with miniature potbelly pigs. It is fortified with selenium, biotin and select amino acids to help with skin and hoof problems. The calcium to phosphorus ratio has been established to help avoid crystals.
Our customers are excited about the improvements seem in their animals and Dr. Cole’s Mini Pig Feed is highly endorsed by many of the NWMPA members. We are very happy with the results that we see in the pigs on this diet and invite you to try it.
Dr. Cole’s Mini Pig Food is milled in the Willamette Valley in Oregon.
